Use the staff dashboard
The live board where your team sees and moves every ticket — columns, live updates, and history.
Available to Staff
Sign in at your-location/staff/login (or via your account) and you land on the Dashboard — the
live board.
Reading the board
- Columns are your workflow stages (for the general flow: Online check-ins → Arrived → In progress → Complete, plus a Closed column). A different workflow shows its own stages.
- Each ticket card shows the customer's name, number, service, wait timer, and action buttons for its legal next steps (for example Mark arrived, then start, complete, close).
- New arrivals flash briefly. Everything updates live — if the small indicator says "reconnecting…", see Live updates stopped.
- If your location uses Saved Check-in Information, the saved detail (a vehicle, student, truck number…) shows on the card with a colored highlight so it's easy to scan.
- If customer communication is on, a ticket the customer flagged for help blinks red, and a 💬 badge shows unread chat messages — click the badge to open that ticket's chat.
- The Closed column shows today by default; use the date range picker to look back further. Large ranges are capped with a "view all" link into Tickets.
Acting on tickets
Select the action button on the card — the move happens in place, and the customer's status page updates at the same moment. Some statuses also offer a back-step (like returning a ticket to Waiting) for honest mistakes.
Put the queue on a screen
The Display board ↗ button in the Live queue header opens the public, read-only lobby board (no login, no contact details) in a new tab — handy for a waiting-room TV. See the lobby display board to set how names appear.
Personal preference
Use the density toggle to switch between the full card view and a more compact one; it's remembered per staff member.
What staff can't do
Location settings, services, workflow, team, QR codes, and reports need an Admin role — the sidebar only shows what your role allows.
