Review suspected check-ins
What the "Suspected check-ins" panel means and how to confirm or delete entries safely.
Available to Staff
This panel only appears when abuse protection is enabled for the platform and something was flagged.
When abuse protection is on, automated screening may flag a check-in that looks scripted (for example a burst from one connection). Flagged tickets:
- appear in an amber Suspected check-ins panel on the dashboard rather than the main board;
- don't count toward your daily check-in quota — spam can never eat your allowance.
What to do
- If it's a real customer (shared building Wi-Fi trips this occasionally): select Confirm — the ticket joins the board normally.
- If it's junk: select Delete and confirm. This permanently removes the entry.
When in doubt, confirm it — a real customer standing in your lobby matters more than a junk row, and confirming is always safe.
