Move a location into (or out of) your business

Adopt a standalone location

If you own a location that isn't in a business yet (created before businesses existed, for instance):

1. On Home, the standalone location shows a move into your business option — or open your business console → Locations and use Add to business there.
2. Confirm. The location keeps everything — its check-in link, QR code, customers, and history stay exactly the same; it simply becomes part of the business (team cascade and roll-up reports included).

Release a location

In Locations, select Remove on a location and confirm. It becomes standalone again — data, link and QR intact — and business-role members lose their cascaded access to it (its direct location team is unaffected).
